Presumably the game is currently being moved to Godot.

Not really. There are situations in the game that imply coercion, but they are always done in a manner that make them look like the victim actually wanted it.

A nice update, love everything about it! Too bad it suffers from a huge problem the game still has: both the stats and the combat system are way too linear, plain going from weak to strong, which pretty much kills the entire fun of competition. A more consistent character building and a more tricky combat would surely help.

Wow! The game is really good. There are some flaws here and there, of course, but it's still great all in all. Need more!

So not much of the promised conflicts and hardcore stuff this time? Well, hopefully it's still coming.

It's a big question, which means a big answer, surely not for a public place like this.

It's a lovely game, I positively like the style. The characters are slightly biased, but it's mostly alright. Writing is generally fine too, but might be a bit 'nicer', to suit the overall nice feeling about the game. The same goes to the concept of the game: it's fine, but a bit rough. All in all, it looks good and surely has a potential to become great.

The gameplay though.. let's be honest, it is a catastrophe. One big problem. And surely needs a total overhaul. Hope you understand it yourself, and have plans about doing it at some point.

Either way, good luck! DiCK got in my list of 'promising games' and isn't going to leave it any soon.

A lovely game with a great potential. The style is fine too, even if feeling a bit sketchy (which, I assume, because of the early version). There were two problems to me though. First, the presentation. The action is pretty intense, but the way it's presented makes it feel slow, as if the action was always 'too late'. Something should be done about it, I think, because it can become a real pain as the game nears completion. Second, the main character. While the drama is strong and logical, the character isn't that convincing, as a person. Moreover the understanding of the character comes gradually, the player makes assumptions about who he's playing and then those assumptions prove to be totally wrong, the character suddenly does something they weren't supposed. The choices the player makes don't really help to shape the character, they all are about the drama in general, not the person. The same goes to all characters, just to lesser degree: the player has to make assumptions about them, as if he knew them, while in fact knowing nothing about them, this knowledge comes much later, which makes the player stumble every second scene.. All in all it surely needs some work on characters development, particularly introduction.

Hope reading this was worth your time. Keep the good work!

A really nice game, and I am surely looking for more. Perhaps more simulation, more activity and autonomy of NPCs, some conflicts and coercion, maybe some rougher treatment for both PC and NPCs too? Generally would be good if the player felt less 'godlike', more a subject to NPCs' desires.

I have to agree, Cedric in this game is absolutely off, both visually and story wise. Great idea, but the authors totally missed the point. What a waste..
